Corporate Video Just Got a Little Easier (For You!)

August 30, 2008 - Yesterday, Google launched a new product for the corporate market called Google Video for Business.

This application, found in the Google Apps office suite ($50 per user, per year) for no extra cost, lets employees upload and share videos within their companies.

Videos can be shared via individual workers, within small groups, or throughout the entire company.

Google predicts the application will be used for things like executive communications, product training, trip reports, legal department mandates, and "social videos" for the company intranet.

Matt Glotzbach, Product Management Director of Google Enterprise, believes that video will continue to be included into email communication like never before and declares the new application, “a whole new way of working.”

This is great news for businesses and organizations already using video for intra-office communication. Now it’s even easier and more convenient to distribute these videos amongst employees and between offices and locations. Users can watch the video at any time, in any location (at large or at the comfort of their own desks), and with anyone they choose (even the company VP of business development who’s based in a location 600 miles away).

This is great news for us at IR Media Group because now it makes even more sense for businesses and organizations to take advantage of our years of award-winning corporate video experience!
